About Toni

I have been a nurse for 25 yrs. I have worked at a local facility for 20 of those years and I spent a total of 8 years teaching at a local community college. I was an academic counselor and taught drug dosage calculations, study & test taking skills, and pharmacology for nurses. I can offer a unique perspective of teaching high school and middle school students how to plan, organize, for future success. In addition, I have experience in item writing and statistical analysis of testing through the board of nursing. I believe that this allows me to help students prepare for science-driven fields and test taking. I have a Master's Degree in Nursing Education and understand VARK, Blooms taxonomy, and domains of learning. I can help your student with habits that will assure success as they enter their first years of college.
