I am a licensed Illinois educator and former speech-language therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting children's academic, social, and communication development. I spent five years working as a speech therapist serving children with disabilities before transitioning into elementary education, teaching grades 1 and 4-6. I specialize in after-school care and summer academic support for children ages 7-12 in the south suburban Chicago area. My approach blends structured childcare with intentional tutoring in reading, writing, and math. I focus on strengthening comprehension, improving writing organization, reinforcing math foundations, and building executive functioning skills.
