Empowering students to thrive is my passion. For the past four years, I've been a tutor, creating engaging and supportive learning environments. I hold a college degree and tailor my approach to each student's unique learning style by listening and observing. I use visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I keep students motivated by celebrating small successes, providing positive reinforcement, and breaking down complex problems. Communication is key, so I prioritize clear expectations and build trust with students and parents. Witnessing those "aha!" moments and seeing confidence blossom is incredibly rewarding. I am CPR and First Aid trained. I can help with English, Test Preparation, Computers, Music & Drama, Sports & Fitness, Study Skills, and History at the elementary and middle school levels. I am available to tutor at your home, a center, online, the library, a community center, school, or a coffee shop.
