About Tomoko

I'm eager to help you unlock your full potential! I have 16 years of experience providing tailored support to students of all ages, from elementary school through college. I hold a college degree and specialize teaching Japanese. I believe every student has unique potential and can achieve their goals with personalized support. I actively listen and observe initial interactions with new material to understand individual learning styles. I encourage curiosity and critical thinking through interactive discussions. Communication is essential for understanding student needs and setting clear expectations. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I would love to help you succeed!
