About Tom

I'd describe my personality as dedicated, patient, competent. I like caring for seniors because I value the perspective and stories that come from a life well lived. After years of working in high energy environments teaching and coaching, I find it rewarding to slow down, provide a steady hand with daily tasks, and offer the kind of reliable companionship that helps someone maintain their independence and quality of life. In my spare time, I like to read, play piano, walk my dog, watch TV, and play disc golf. My skills include communication, patience, and a sense of humor. I have two daughters in college and have been married for 25 years. I've been teaching in madison for 27 years and am looking to help out some seniors over the summer during my break. I love a routine and would enjoy meeting and helping some new people. I help 13-14-year-olds all year and would enjoy working and supporting a more mature clientele.
