About Toby

I've loved working with kids for as long as I can remember. Being a mom is my biggest life goal, and in the meantime, I find real joy in providing children with a safe, loving space to be themselves. I have about three years of professional nannying and babysitting experience, and even before that, I was the go-to sitter for family friends, church nursery care, and community events. I've cared for newborns through school-aged kids and love building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents. My favorite activities with kids involve being outside - nature is the best playground! When indoors, I love encouraging creativity through drawing and coloring. I'm currently studying social work at the University of Nevada, Reno, with a focus on child development and mental health. My childcare style is about gently guiding kids as they explore the world, supporting their independence while being a steady, caring presence.
