About Tobie

Hi! I'm Tobie, and I'm graduating from Willamette University with degrees in Psychology and Sociology. I have experience working with older adults in assisted living and memory care as a Universal Caregiver and Activities Assistant in a senior living community. Working with seniors is something I am passionate about: getting to know each person, spending time talking and listening, participating in activities, going on walks/outings, and providing reassurance. Memory care has taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, and a calm approach. I'm comfortable helping with companionship, activities, meal preparation, errands, transportation, housekeeping, and everyday needs. I'm also CPR trained and have a food handler card. Most importantly, I want the person I'm spending time with to feel respected, comfortable, and cared for. I'd love to be someone families can depend on, knowing their loved one is with someone patient, attentive, and experienced.
