About Tina

I'd describe my personality as patient nurturing, and engaging. I like working with kids because I have a passion for seeing them grow and learn. I want to have a positive impact on that growth and development. I'm looking for a job that will be for the summer months. I am a 1st grade teacher and have the months of June and July to offer my services. I started working with kids in a library in 1995. I developed summer reading programs and weekly programs. I was an elementary librarian for 16 years. I became a nanny for 4 years, and now am a 1st grade teacher. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time with my husband, keep active with my daughter and hang out with friends. One thing you should know about me is I am a dedicated, nurturing person who loves young children and will provide a loving and attentive experience. My skills include flexibility to the child's needs, providing engaging activities from newborn to elementary age, and problem-solving when needed.
