About Timothy

Currently, I am a special education teacher. I have taught many subjects, but primarily Language Arts (English), Algebra 1, the Social Scoences, and Sciencr for kids as young as kindergarten to the age of 22. I have 20 years of teaching experience and over 30 years of coaching, mentoring, and tutoring experiences. I can assist with all areas of students needs, and can not only provide thoughtful instruction for specific subject areas, but also for test preparation. As a tutor, I use a multi-sensory approach to instruction and I focus on what a child can do and not what the cannot do. I incorporate visual cues, auditory explanation, and hands on materials which depends on their primary learning strengths. I strongly believe in a patient and positive approach to working with kids of all ability levels, and welcome the opportunity to help your son or daughter achieve at their highest levels. .
