About Timothy

I am enthusiastic, energetic, and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because, as an active retiree, I can appreciate their life experiences and I enjoy making a positive difference in their lives. I'm looking for opportunities that allow me some flexibility in scheduling and to do things that really help, such as talking with them, helping them accomplish things, or completing tasks for them that they are not able to do for themselves. I am not particularly interested in passive care. I began working with seniors in September 2023. In my spare time I teach Spin Class, lift weights, and enjoy cycling, both on a tandem with my wife. We both like to travel and to garden. Last year I re-landscaped my front yard with a gravel garden,. I am extremely reliable. I take my commitments seriously and always follow through on them. I am familiar with sit-to-stand and Hoyer equipment. I am comfortable giving complete baths or showers (males only, at least so far in my experience).
