About Timnit

Hi!! My name is Timnit, I'm a sophomore at the UM, College Park studying Political Science who holds a 3. 67 GPA. I am also pursuing a minor in Arabic and have completed two years of Arabic language coursework. I have a strong academic foundation in math and the social sciences, including Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistical Methods, Probability, English, and courses in History, Psychology, and Criminology. I have one year of experience working at a childcare center where I helped elementary students with homework across multiple subjects. I also volunteered at a school in Africa where I taught and supported children's learning. These experiences strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles while helping students build confidence and strong study habits.
