About Timmejah

I have worked at 3 early childhood centers, my current job being the third. This has made me realize my issue with working at a school is that I become too passionate and it is heartbreaking to me that so many of the parents care so little about their children as it relates to their development not just as a child but as a person. I have realized I care a lot about having a relationship with the people whose children I care for. I want to help not only with basic's but valuable life skills, most importantly the skill of social-emotional literacy. Communication is such an important overlooked skill, especially in children. Studies show that your ability to communicate & connect in elementary school can determine your ability to attain success in adulthood (Ask me about this in my interview). This realization has led me here hoping that I can find a family that is not only looking for a caretaker but a support that is genuine & passionate .
