Hi! have worked with special needs for 17 years. I have been a paraprofessional in public schools for most of that time working with a variety of disorders such as add, ADHD, autism, Down's syndrome, blindness, deafness, mental illness, and emotional disabilities. I have been a caretaker for a young man who is deaf and has Spina Bifida for the past 10 years until I moved here to TN. I currently am a special education paraprofessional in middle school. I have about 8 years experience in the daycare setting working with babies from 6 weeks to 5 years old as well. I absolutely love children and about to go to school to get my teaching degree in elementary and special education.
