My name is Tiffany. I'm a 38-year-old mother of 2. I've been in the care. com family for several years, working for 5 families, long term, as a nanny. While I have no formal training working with those with physical/ mental disabilities, I did spend 2 years participating in a hippo therapy program in Texas, worked with a family with special needs, and spent time with my grandmother and her friends in her memory care facility. I am patient, and understanding. I can follow a program, help reach goals and hit milestones. I can sit and spend time with an older friend to give a main caregiver a break, which is incredibly important. I enjoy cooking, reading, music, arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor activities, and simple conversations.
