About Tierra

Tierra is kind, caring, communicative, and dependable. She watches over 1-3 very active 3-year old boys at a time, prepares delicious meals for them, and skillfully leads them in activity-filled days. I appreciate how thoughtful Tierra has been to balance structure and free play, ensuring that the kids are getting time to be kids, and time to be exposed to those other things we want kids to learn (how to self-regulate, how to make decisions, how to be polite, reading and writing, etc.). Within just a couple of weeks with us, Tierra actively built networks with other nannies in the area to organize play dates, visits to the public library, potluck lunches, and other community building experiences that have made my son's life richer. Most importantly, my son is excited to see her each day!
