About Tierney

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With a year of experience, I specialize in Math, Science, English, and Test Preparation for students from elementary through adult levels. I believe every learner thrives when provided with a supportive, patient environment tailored to their unique needs. By incorporating visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples, I break complex challenges into manageable steps to build confidence. I prioritize open communication with both students and parents to foster a collaborative and trusting partnership. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I am dedicated to helping your student experience that rewarding "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals and making the learning process a truly enjoyable journey.
