About Tiara

I'd describe my personality as creative, empathetic, and patient. I started working with kids throughout my childhood. I worked as a babysitter up until I was a teen and transitioned into more education focused work. Throughout my college career, I worked as a tutor, and after receiving my degree, I began working in K-12 general education and special education classes. In my spare time, I try to stay creative and spend time outside. I really enjoy doing crafts of all sorts; if I am spending time outdoors, I will often haul a bag of art supplies and a good book with me to keep me entertained. I also am on a club rugby team and enjoy playing sports. One thing you should know about me is I value a child's independence and opportunity for growth. As a future educator and professional in the education field, I feel it's important to foster self advocacy and problem solving skills to help children gain confidence in their self.
