About Tia

Hello! I'm Tia. I am 27 and a graduate of North Central College and just earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I am currently exploring job openings and in the process of studying for my boards. In the meantime, I am looking for part time opportunities to work. I have an extensive background in instructing CPR/Basic First Aid for adults, children, and infants and worked as an EMT for a while. Some of my hobbies include hiking, backpacking, jiu-jitsu, running, reading, climbing, and generally anything that involves being outdoors. Currently, I live in the Lemont/Homer Glen area. I have 10+ years of experience in several different nannying/babysitting positions ranging from newborns to toddlers and young children. I am very comfortable with interacting, playing, feeding, getting dressed, naps, chores, etc). I am a big believer in interacting with children directly and allowing them to learn from hands-on experiences. I look forward to connecting with you!
