I described the position in great detail in our message exchanges and asked directly if the location and hours worked for her. She said yes, so we booked an interview, and then she failed to show up. When I sent her a message to ask about her no-show, she said she looked up the Uber prices and decided it was too far, but never bothered to communicate that earlier. She took a time slot that I could've offered to someone else and generally wasted our time not thinking through things before sending quick answers.
