I am available for daytime, evening, and overnight home care for seniors or individuals who have disabilities, illnesses, injuries, or are post-surgery. I am a retired mental health therapist with a flexible schedule and 7 years of providing care for a 74-year-old man with end-stage MS. I stay at his home for 7 to 12 days multiple times each year and take him on trips and errands in his van. I have great cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and hygiene skills, can manage medications and breathing devices, can help with home organization and clerical tasks, and can transport clients and run errands. My handyman skills are excellent. I can handle a Hoyer lift, all types of motor chairs and mobility aids, and breathing machines. I've been blessed with a genuine interest in the lives of others and a natural drive to be a supportive companion. I can provide a list of references if requested - people who know me well because they have worked with or lived with me for many years.
