Caring for a special needs individual requires a special skill set which includes patience, compassion and tenacity. I've spent the past 3 years of my extensive healthcare career caring for young adults with a multitude of diagnoses and syndromes. From Dravets syndrome, to Autism, to cognitive impairments and beyond. I am CPR/first aid certified, recipient rights certified, and blood borne pathogens certified. I LOVE working with disabled individuals. Helping them with simple daily tasks, daily care, and achieving goals and milestones makes me feel like I'm making a difference in this world.
