About Therese Marie

I have always loved children! I am the oldest of six, and my five younger siblings currently range in age from 4 to 15. I am comfortable around babies (changing diapers, burping, ect) and have helped care for them throughout my life! I also love reading out loud to kids, playing guitar for them, and drawing with them. I am currently a Public Health major planning to go into Nursing. I have worked in Home Health care for two summers as the caretaker for a woman with dementia and down syndrome. In my spare time, I like to read, draw, care for my many pets, and play guitar.

Therese served with me in a lower income, blighted and seriously challenging environment in Houston during the summer of 2024. She worked alongside children of all ages and showed compassion, care and concern at all times. Therese has the strongest work ethic and a do whatever it takes mindset when tackling a task.
