I have over 18 years of happily working in the elderly community. Primarily I have worked with Alzheimers and Dementia, EITHER in their homes or in an assisted living community. I have assisted in a variety of daily activities, for example; driving too and from doctor appointments, showering, dressing, assisting with feeding, PROVIDING all personal care, reading, going out to parks or museums, truly all aspects of daily living. I have had the privilege to work closely with Hospice on 3 occasions. I feel tremendous joy and fulfillment when I am spending time with and helping the elder population. I'm a mother of two grown children and I enjoy walks outdoors or using my new peloton. I've taken a little time off since my last client moved to DC with her son, I'm now looking forward to meeting and helping a new client and their family.
