The first person I cared for had Parkinson's. I took care of my mother after a full hysterectomy due to cancer and again after triple bypass. I had a neighbor I helped with sorting her pills and making sure she was taking the correct pills at the correct times in the correct dosages as well as checking her blood glucose levels and logging them for her. In April 2017 I took the Home health aide certification class and began working with clients through a local agency. I primarily work with through the CDPAP program. I have experience with Huntingtons, PSP, Parkinson, Dementia and memory care issues, and paralysis. Experienced giving pre dosed pills, refilling med sets, assisting with shower, washing hair, dressing, toileting, prep. meals, feeding, accompany on outings or to appointments, laundry, switching out leg bags and bed bags, Hoyer lift, helping with PT exercises and wound care.
