About Theresa

Nurturing young minds is my passion, and I have dedicated 17 years to fostering educational and social emotional growth in children and youth. I began working at an after-school program, became an elementary school teacher and then a school psychologist. I hold a doctorate in school psychology and have completed Early Child Development coursework. My approach is patient and calm, and I am friendly and approachable with every child. I prefer to provide care in my own home with my 18-month-old child. My husband and I are certified foster parents. We have a minimal screen time environment and can play safely indoors and outdoors. I believe in open communication with parents and enjoy supporting the literacy, math and social emotional development of children through play, reading and activities. I am comfortable caring for one child, in addition to my own and I am trained in First Aid and CPR. I look forward to hearing from you and discussing how I can enrich your child's life!
