About Theresa

Hi there, thank you for checking out my profile! I'm an enthusiastic, positive caregiver who's worked with kids of all ages. Every stage of childhood has something special to offer, so it's hard to pick a favorite! I have been working with kids since I was 14. I started out by teaching Sunday school, which led to babysitting for various families at church. I nannied for a few families through my undergraduate program, and most recently interned as a school social worker at a K-8 school teaching social-emotional learning, with a strong focus on coping skills and self empowerment. Additionally, I have years of experience working with neurodivergent kids, particularly kids with autism, both in and outside of the home. I have a BA in psychology, and am currently working towards a master's in social work. My experience makes me a well rounded and knowledgeable caregiver.
