About Theresa

Hello, I am currently a first grade paraprofessional that just graduated with my masters in elementary education. I have been working with kids my whole life from teaching gymnastics, babysitting, and teaching in the NYC Department of Education public school system. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, responsible, and personable. I started working with kids when I was 10, because I am the oldest of 8 cousins and 3 brothers. My professional work with kids started at 17 when I began working at The Little Gym, which is gymnastics classes for children as well as parents and their infants. I worked for 4 years. After this I moved on to working for the Department of education. I was also a nanny this past summer for 2 kids, a 1-year-old boy and 7-year-old girl. I would take them to the pool and other activities, cook for them, do light cleaning, and anything else they needed.
