About Theresa

With over 20 years of experience, I've learned that every child has unique strengths to offer the world. I strive to be patient and calm, creating a nurturing environment for up to five children. I follow parents' lead on household rules and communication preferences. I enjoy discovering what motivates each child, whether it's outdoor adventures like hiking, gardening, or swimming, or creative activities like drawing and fort-building. I am happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I hold First Aid, CPR Training, and have completed Early Child Development Coursework. My background includes a graduate degree and certification as a teacher. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and ASL. I have advanced knowledge special needs, medically fragile children and adults as well as infants/toddlers. I've worked in houses with multiple staff before and I'm comfortable with that. I'm flexible, friendly, discreet and reliable.
