Hi! My name is Theresa and I am a licensed Intervention Specialist. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Child and Family Studies from Ohio University in 2013. Upon graduation, I worked in an extended school year program for students with disabilities, where I fell in love with the world of special education. After working for a head start program as a home visitor for a year, I attended graduate school at Notre Dame College. It was here where I became a graduate assistant in the Academic Support Center for college students with special needs. Upon graduation, I began working for the South Euclid/Lyndhurst school district as an Intervention Specialist. Several of the students I currently work with are nonverbal, and I am familiar with a range of AAC devices. I have worked with students with a range of disabilities (ages 3-18), and have extensive experience working with students on the autism spectrum. I am very passionate about what I do, and very thankful for this career!
