Hello! My name is Theresa and I'm a professional caregiver with over two decades of experience caring for the elderly. My first experience with care taking was at 18 years old, and I knew as soon as I started that I wanted to make my life about caring for others. I went on to study nutrition to assist people with their eating choices, and from there I obtained two degrees. My first degree was in Clinical Massage Therapy, and my second in Medical Laboratory Science. Now, many years later, I'm a proud mother of two fully grown children and enjoy spending my free time care giving. I'm able to provide: - Cooking & Food Preparation (I'm an amazing chef!) - Companionship - Housekeeping - Shopping & Errands - Transportation My background check has been approved by Washington State and Minnesota. Theresa has been caring for my father who is undergoing radiation treatment for head and neck cancer. She has been incredible in every regard and my father and I will forever be grateful for her kind, conscientious and capable care over these many difficult weeks. I would recommend her with enthusiasm to anyone who is looking for someone to help care for an elderly person and/or someone undergoing cancer treatment. She makes meals for my father, helps him with his exercises, dresses his wounds, takes him shopping, picks up prescriptions, monitors his nutrition/hydration, and gets him to and from his appointments. In a word she is AMAZING and any family would be fortunate to have her to care for their loved one. Thank you, Theresa, for all you do! You have been the greatest gift to our family during this challenging time!
