About Theresa

I am a woman who loves children. I wanted to have four; two girls and two boys, but God only blessed me with one, so I am now a mother to others. I have always loved teaching and singing to children. My husband and I even took in homeless teenagers last year but they wanted to live their own lives and didn't like discipline and couldn't accept no as an answer. I am also a youth leader at my church, providing fun nights and I used to direct the choir. It is important to me to let children know that they are loved and respected. I value education and feel that every lesson is a teaching moment. I have a wonderful son who is 33. I have helped raise my niece and nephew and have been a Big Sister to many in our community. I am also a caregiver to Seniors. I value what they have done and feel they should be treated with honor and respect. They hold a special place in my heart.
