I have been babysitting and watching children (newborn to adolescent) for as long as I can remember. In between working in a nursing home and my regular day to day life I tried watching as many of the kids I normally did prior. Now that I am no longer @ the nursing home, I definitely have more time to babysit the children I used to. Although my last position was not in child care, I was still able to assist that family w/the children. My brother is a single father of 2 who | have helped w/ since they came home from the hospital. Along with my best friend's children, aged 4 to 10 I was CPR certified through the Red Cross. Although I do not have a college degree I was accepted to a program with CHS where I obtained my CNA (Certified Nurse Asst.) I went thru an educational/training 6month program held at St Catherines. There's something so special about a child, how they view the world and of course the classic comments & questions that come from those little mouths and inquisitive minds.
