I have been babysitting and watching children (newborn to adolescent) for as long as I can remember. In between working in a nursing home and my regular day to day life I tried watching as many of the kids I normally did prior. Now that I am no longer work in the nursing home, I definitely have more time to babysit the children I used to. Although many will be going back to their regular school schedules & weekends off, I am available more frequently. I also watch a 2yr old on a need be basis, giving me a a more available and flexible schedule. I was CPR certified through the Red Cross. Although I do not have a college degree I was accepted to a program with Catholic Health Services where I obtained my CNA (Certified Nurse Asst.) I went thru an educational/training 6month program held at St Catherines. There's something so special about a child, how they view the world and of course the classic comments & questions that come from those little mouths and inquisitive minds.
