About Thelma

I have over 7 years of experience caring for children ages 6 months to 12 years. I currently care for a 1. 5-year-old girl, supporting her well-being, emotional development, and early learning through play, music, and exploration. I handle her meals, hygiene, and activities that promote independence and curiosity. I have references mainly from Mexico and also from Texas. My background in Special and Inclusive Education and my work as a support teacher at the elementary and high school levels have given me tools to work with children and teens with diverse needs. I provide personalized care, adapt resources, and collaborate closely with families to support each child's development. My approach to childcare is nurturing, respectful, and focused on empathy, emotional safety, and individual attention.
