About Thelma

We have been incredibly fortunate to have Thelma as our nanny for the past 2.5 years, and she has truly become a cherished member of our family. Thelma cares for our 4-year-old and 1-year-old daughters during the workweek, and from the very first day, she won them over completely. Our girls are typically quite selective about who they warm up to, but Thelma’s gentle, patient, and loving nature built instant trust and deep affection. Watching their faces light up when she arrives each morning is one of the sweetest parts of our day. She creates fun, age-appropriate activities that keep our older daughter engaged and learning while giving our toddler the safe, nurturing attention she needs. She’s wonderfully organized, proactive about cleanup, and always goes the extra mile without ever needing to be asked. What truly sets Thelma apart, though, is her genuine love and concern for our entire family. She treats my wife and me with the same warmth and care she shows our daughters—checking in on how our day is going, offering thoughtful advice, and always making us feel supported and valued. It’s rare to find someone who makes you feel like you’re her own children, but that’s exactly how Thelma makes us feel. We consider ourselves extremely lucky to have Thelma in our lives. She isn’t just a wonderful nanny—she’s family.
