Hi my name is Nicole, and I have 12 years experience as a night nurse/newborn care specialist. I am also a mother of 3 wonderful kids two boys and one girl. have a very calm, nurturing demeanor and I help families feel at ease by sharing my knowledge about newborns. Instilling confidence in new parents to identify their newborns needs helps lower stress. I understand all babies are different but I am skilled in helping babies get on a predictable schedule and start sleeping through the night. I hired Nicole for overnight help with my ten week old. With no exaggeration, Nicole transformed our lives! My baby went from at least four night wakings a night to sleeping through the night. She put us on a consistent schedule that worked incredibly for our family and gave me the tools to transform my baby into an incredible sleeper. Thelma is a gift sent from heaven. She is the most nurturing, kind and passionate person. She loves what she does and takes her job very seriously. She was our night nurse for 5 weeks (came in when our son was 4 weeks old) and he was sleeping 12 hours a night by 10 weeks! No joke. Our first night nurse was kind but she was not a sleep trainer. Nicole got our baby to sleep without a pacifier and take longer stretches without even crying! She also helped us get him on a sleep schedule during the day and taught us the importance of routine. She's the most amazing person inside and out and will always be a part of our family and lives. I still reach out to her today to ask questions! This was my first time using care.com and I feel I just got so lucky. I can't imagine if we had not chosen Nicole.

We used Thelma Nicole (she goes by Nicole) as a Night Nurse from the time that we brought our newborn daughter home from the hospital until she was about 3 months old.  She had great advice and was wonderful with our daughter.  With Nicole there, I was able to get a full night's sleep, which helped so much!  By the time Nicole left, our daughter was sleeping through the night, which is awesome!  I highly recommend her!

We hired Thelma as a night nurse for our infant twin daughters for approximately three months. It was our first time hiring a caregiver and Thelma was fantastic! She was caring, nurturing, experienced, and handled the twins seamlessly. We learned a lot from her, especially in relation to sleep training. She is also very personable, which was a huge plus. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a night nurse.

Nicole was our Nanny for 2.5 years and cared for our first daughter starting at 6 months and our second daughter starting at birth. She was an integral, involved and valued member of our family and helped with all facets of care taking including but not limited to sleep training, meal planning, potty training, laundry, transportation, education, scheduling and house management. Our 3 year old has grown to be a polite, smart, active toddler who loves to read, play outside, eat new foods and learn new things and Nicole is credited with helping us nurture our baby in all of those things. Nicole had our first daughter potty trained by 2. She planned play dates, indoor crafts and outdoor activities including finding classes to take the kiddos to at different locations around town.  If the weather was good, they would get out of the house and enjoy the city. If the weather didn't allow getting out, they would stay in and read every book, do arts and crafts, play babies and bake cupcakes. 

T. Nicole worked with our newborn/infant for two months. At the beginning N. was waking up 5 times a night with gas, feedings, and grunting. After two months of nightly sleep training with T. Nicole, N. was sleeping the whole night. She did a wonderful job with our son! She has a lot of ideas and different techniques to settle down a baby at night. Great experience with a lot of families in our neighborhood recommending her. She was on time, extremely positive, friendly, and caring/nurturing. Every morning, T. Nicole gave full reports on the evening and ideas on how to manage naps and rest during the day.

We were so thankful for her help as our night nurse, as our little guy was a terrible sleeper and we were all exhausted. She was amazing -- she was able to read his cues and even helped us get him on a better schedule. Not only did she take great care of him while she was with us, but she often offered good advice and ideas, which I really appreciated as a first time mom. I would hire her again in a heartbeat! 

Thelma was a lifesaver to us when our twin babies were three months old. One of our twins had colic with moderate acid reflux and he would wake up every hour or two and wake our other twin up as well. We have two older children 2 years old and three years old and it would have been impossible to function during the day without having Thelma at night to help us. She gave us strategies, support and encouragement. She would text to see how the babies were doing during the day and she was always friendly and kind when she came to our home. 
Thelma also came back to us three weeks after having her own baby, because we were still not able to get one of the twins sleeping through the night. My family and I can't say enough how much we appreciated all of her help. Anyone that needs help with child care would be very lucky to have her. 

I couldn't recommend Thelma enough - she is absolutely wonderful with our newborn daughter and truly calmed my nerves as a first time mom with her helpful suggestions and reassurances. I would describe Thelma as reliable, caring, and professional and would recommend her to anyone without any hesitation!

Thelma worked with us for almost 5 months as our night nurse.  She was very accommodating to our constantly changing schedule, which we really appreciated.  She had a lot of advice to offer, and her laid back demeanor always calmed my new mom nerves.   

Nicole A. was an outstanding and terrific employee for years. She took excellent care of my three daughters including a set of twins for years. She cooked meals, clean the home, washed, dried and folded clothes, organized the kids clothes and belongings and transportation. Nicole went above and beyond the call of duty. She taught my children ABC's, 123's, colors, shapes, etc. and helped my oldest with her homework. Nicole was like a second mother to my children!
