About Thea

Hello! I have 6 plus years of experience in caring for the elderly including those with dementia, physical disabilities and hard to please, stubborn personalities. I have a great sense of responsibility paired with the ability to go with the flow and keep a sense of humor. I have facilitated the personal development of clients by helping them work through their limitations in order to enjoy adaptive recreation, athletics, continuing education, special events and community interactions including music and art. I demonstrate compassion and encouragement during tough moments. I assist clients with all aspects of daily living including: Diet and meal preparation, bathing and basic hygiene, housekeeping and time management. I am a curious person with a love of learning and for me, taking care of the elderly is highly rewarding.
