Hello! My children call me Tamy. I have 7 years of experience in childcare, with children from day 1 to 9 years old. I have also been a teacher's assistant in a Spanish immersion daycare, this has allowed me to connect childcare with learning a second language through play. My love for children is genuine, and I strive to create a safe, loving, and fun environment for them. I am an honest, flexible, kind, and empathetic person; I always respect the needs and routines of parents. For almost 3 years, I was blessed to work with a wonderful family, caring for one of the children from birth and the second from 2 to almost 5 years old. Thanay came to help us for a week in March and she has been nothing short of amazing! She worked 6am-1pm Monday through Friday and she was able to be flexible and extend her time later when I needed her to. She was always on time and as soon as she walked through the door, she washed her hands and was ready to jump in and help with the kids. She was great with my newborn baby and almost 2 year old. My daughter was hesitant at first but then quickly warmed up and loved Thanay. They played, sang, and danced together. She even started teaching her words in Spanish. By the end of the week she was giving Thanay a big hug when she left. She maintained the routines I had in place and gave updates throughout the day on how everything was going. She washed bottles and kept the play areas and nursery clean and tidy. She would text with any questions or concerns. We loved her so much we will be using her 1-2 times a week permanently starting in May. I would definitely recommend Thanay to anyone needing full time help!
