I'd describe my personality as calm, focused, and quiet. I like working with animals because I have grown up with animals from a young age and see them as family. I enjoy spending time with my own furbaby. I'm looking for a job that will allow me the chance to enjoy time with other animals but allow me to still focus on my own. I started working with animals when I used to pet sit the neighbor's dogs when they would go on trips, and I have cared for my own special needs cats over the years. In my spare time, I like to read and spend time with my friends when we are all available. One thing you should know about me is I cannot do anything overnight as I cannot leave my furbaby alone that long. Time during the day is my preferred. I prefer a non-smoker household due to allergies. My skills include making sure to follow routines, positive reinforcement, and providing medicine as needed. I can play with energetic animals and also provide a calm environment for older animals.
