I started my caregiving journey in 2019 working for Home Instead Senior Care and have been doing a combination of agency and private work since. I've helped clients with everything from feeding and bathing to companionship care. I also have experience with dementia clients. I obtained my CNA certification the summer of 2025 and plan on continuing my caregiving/nursing career. I have specialized knowledge in catheter, G-tube, and tracheostomy maintenance and care. I have also given IV infusions through a central line. I have been fortunate in getting some advanced "on the job" training. I am looking for part-time work at this time. I have some flexibility in my schedule for days and evenings. I prefer no weekends but am open to discussion . I will work around my 4-year-old's preschool schedule and yours. Tess provided services for my quadriplegic, ventilator and, feeding tube dependent daughter, Kirsten. Tess also took care of Kirsten's wound care issues. Tess managed all facets of Kirsten's very technical and complex care. Tess also administered IV infusions through a central line. Keeping track of all her medicines, ventilator , feeding tube supplies, and placed all the resupply orders. All of this Tess learned on the job. Tess also managed Kirsten's daily living needs i.e. housekeeping, laundry, and personal care. Most important Tess jumped in to train our family to do this complex care. Tess was not afraid of anything regarding the care Kirsten required. I have the utmost respect for her skills and character.
