About Tess

I am vivacious, passionate, thoughtful and creative. Children ignite love and creativity I had forgotten I had inside of me. As a kid, my caretakers meant the world to me! I started working with kids when I was 11 years old in theatre summer camp. I worked that job for 6 years, writing and putting on musicals with kids ages 6-13, before moving onto childcare for kids 2-6. I act, sing, play guitar, write poetry, make films, and crochet! I love movies and themed nights- I think every day can be a holiday. I've done theatre since I was 7 years old and I am a super musical and artsy person! Your kids will never be bored. I have an autistic brother and two autistic cousins, meaning I have practically parented children with special needs for 21 years. It's given me patience, understanding, and unconditional love. My skills include quick problem-solving, creatively getting children to engage in tasks, and compassion & empathy.
