About Tess

I'm Tess! I sing, act, play guitar, write poetry, doodle, make films, and crochet! I love movies and themed nights- I think every day can be a holiday. I started working with kids when I was 11 years old in theatre summer camp. For 6 years, I wrote and directed musicals with kids ages 6-13, before expanding to childcare for 1-through-6-year-olds and assisted living facilities. I have an autistic brother and two autistic cousins, meaning I have practically parented children with special needs for 21 years. It's given me patience, understanding, and unconditional love. My skills include quick problem-solving, creatively getting children to engage in tasks, compassion and empathy. I am vivacious, passionate, thoughtful and creative. I've done theatre since I was 7 years old- I am a super musical and artsy person! Your kids will never be bored. Children ignite love and creativity I had forgotten I had inside of me. As a kid, my caretakers meant the world to me!
