About Tess

Formerly a Latin and English teacher, SPED Assistant, and 504 Coordinator at a local charter school, I have experience in many subject areas. I have been private tutoring for over 10 years. I have been trained as a speech-language pathology assistant through ASU's post-baccalaureate program, which is where I became passionate about executive functions and both emotional and sensory regulation. I have completed PESI's Evidence-Based Strategies for Managing ADHD across the Lifespan and greatly enjoy working with students who have ADHD. It is important to me to create a meaningful relationship with students. I want to make sure that they always feel seen, heard, and understood. I'm excited to connect with you and see if I'll be a good fit for your child's needs!
