About Tess

Hi! I'm an experienced childcare provider and tutor with nearly 10 years of experience working with kids and teens. I love helping children discover what they're capable of, whether that's mastering a tough math problem or finishing a creative art project. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology including coursework on child development, and I'm a licensed EMT currently in paramedic school. You can rest easy knowing that your kids are in safe, capable hands. My goal is to be a positive influence in your child's life, providing balance of structure and fun. I am comfortable enforcing household rules while keeping our time together engaging by spending time outdoors, tabletop games, and arts and crafts. I'm also happy to help with homework support.
