About Tess

I'm currently a full time reading interventionist for a charter school located in New Orleans, working primarily with kindergarten through 5th grade. I will be attending a masters of social program in the fall where I'll be pursuing a school social work license. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, reliable, and empathetic. I'm looking for a job that I can work full time or part time during the summer, and possibly maintain a schedule into the fall! I started working with kids when I was 15 years old, and never stopped. I've babysat for multiple families over the years. I've worked in various schools, and still have a passion for the work! I also feel comfortable with children of all abilities. In my spare time, I like to spend quality time with family and friends, enjoy live music, and take long walks. My skills include patience, understanding, and kindness.
