About Tessa

I'd describe my personality as friendly, honest, and respectful. I find joy in spending time around children and I believe that they are innately pure and kindhearted. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old, and I have spent a few years teaching preschool and working in a daycare. I have studied early childhood development and education and I have a strong knowledge of social and emotional skills. I always strive to balance clear communication with gentle compassion as I work with children. I am currently studying family life and human development at SUU and I love learning about how to build mental wellbeing and develop healthy relationships. In my spare time, I like to be outside with my husband, playing games with friends, or doing any sort of craft. Lately I've been busy sewing, scrapbooking, and learning stonework. At the moment I am looking to work only a few hours a week, preferably in the late morning or afternoon.
