Nice to meet you, I'm Tessa! I am new to care. com but love working with kids and have worked with kids in the past clinically, as babysitter, and as a temporary teacher. I am currently pursuing my Master's in Social Work (MSW) to specialize as a children's counselor. I am looking for part-time babysitting and nanny opportunities while I complete my graduate studies. I love creating an environment of whimsy, play, and fun, while naturally maintaining the healthy routines, safety, and deep structure that children need to thrive. My Childcare Experience: Clinical Therapy Assistant (Outpatient Hospital Clinic): Specialized in working directly with children with disabilities, neurodivergence, and injuries. Substitute Teacher (K-6th): Spent 6 months managing full classrooms of up to 25 students. Private Home Childcare: Built a trusted history of in-home care throughout high school and college. Most recently provided consistent care for a professor's 18-month-old toddler.
