On top of general family babysitting, I have been a paid Nanny for a little over 2 years for a lovely family of two young children. I moved to Rockford from Long Island, New York, where I was a wildlife rehabilitator and Public Safety Officer a couple of years ago. I have both first aid and CPR certification. For 6 years I worked as a volunteer for Camp Anchor in NY for the mentally and physically disabled with a focus on young children. I can also tutor in violin for any level. I will likely have to take my 1-year-old daughter with me to work- she is extremely sweet and gentle with animals & other babies.

Tessa was with us for over 2.5 years watching our now 3.5 year old, 1.5 year old, and dog and she was wonderful. The kids love her, and she always went the extra mile doing crafts/activities with them and taking them fun places. She is great with communication and flexibility (my work schedule is chaotic at best) and rolled with it no problem when we inherited an energetic puppy to the family, even teaching her some tricks. Would highly recommend, we will miss her!
