About Tessah

Hello! I am excited to start this learning journey with you! I have been teaching for 2 years mainly focusing on 5th grade with a strong emphasis on English Language Arts. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education and am also certified in ESOL. In my 2 years of teaching, I have found that making online and in person learning fun and engaging for my learners is key to their success. I incorporate lots of formative assessment and design lessons based on their personal interests to keep them motivated and involved in their learning journey. In my free time, I enjoy staying active through pilates, yoga, and going for walks. I also love to travel, as well as spend quality time with my friends, family, and my cat. These interests greatly influence my teaching style as I am a lover of reading and mindfulness. I always strive to make learning a fun and enjoyable experience. I can't wait to get to know each of my students and help them reach their full potential!
