About Tessa

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With several years of experience as a licensed/certified teacher for first grade, fifth grade, and preschool, I specialize in creating personalized learning journeys for elementary students. My experiences in my own classroom allow me to differentiate instruction effectively for every child. Whether we are exploring Math, Science, or English, I adapt my methods to suit visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners. I prioritize building confidence through positive reinforcement and real-world connections, ensuring that challenging concepts become accessible and engaging. I believe in fostering a collaborative partnership with parents to support each student's growth. Getting to see students grow and master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping your child grow in confidence and discover the joy of learning.
