About Tessa

I have several years of experience working with children aged 3 and up. I have been regularly sitting for a few families in San Diego for 3 years now and am also entering my third year as an after school Expressive Arts Teacher. I'm comfortable caring for up to two or three children and happy to help with cooking and light housekeeping. I lived on a homestead for a few years, and do frequent dog walks for neighbors, so I am also comfortable with caring for any fuzzy friends. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, and anything important I prefer to communicate in person, unless it is urgent. I follow your lead when enforcing household rules. My positive experiences babysitting motivated me to support families by providing reliable childcare. I am currently working on a certification in Art Therapy and looking for something to fill in the weekends as my teaching position is part time. I'm excited to bring my passion for making a positive impact to your family.
