Hi! My name is Tessa and I am looking for a senior care job in the Chesapeake Area. I have experience with assisting and elderly couple in their home with everyday tasks; getting breakfast ready, going to the grocery store, cleaning around the house, getting them to and from appointments, reading to them, the list goes on. I specifically enjoyed helping them learn technology that helped make their day a bit brighter or helped them stay in touch with loves ones. I like to think the best way to describe what I provide is an at home helper! I am happy to do everything from cooking meals and cleaning to reading their favorite book to them!

Tessa is an excellent addition to my dad's life! She consistently exhibits compassion, thoughtfulness, and amazing work ethic. She prepares delicious home-cooked meals (incorporating his preferences, using up things in the fridge as needed, portioning and labeling) and always finds ways to double check his needs are met (fridge stocked and cleaned, helping with smoke alarm batteries, teaching him the technology, etc). She proactively takes initiative and reports thoroughly on her visits, including things to keep an eye on and what topics my dad wants to chat about. She's been a reliable presence for over six months and we hope for many more!
